Detox Recipes

Lemon Detox
Lemon has been known for having detoxifying components for a long time. It is used all over the world such as Australia and Europe and is also well-known amongst celebrities. This recipe has proven to give outstanding detoxifying results over many years.
For one serving of this juice, you will need to mix the following ingredients:
- 1 Lemon or Lime
- 2 tablespoon of Maple Syrup
- 10 oz of Water, preferably filtered
- 3 pinches of Cayenne Pepper
- 1 pinch of Salt
Ginger Detox
Ginger is also a Detoxifying food. It is high in antioxidant and can give a boost to the immune system at the same time. What is great about Ginger is that it can also be included in any other detox juice that you make such as the Lemon detox or other recipes.
For one serving of a ginger detoxifying juice, you will need to put the following in a mixer:
- ½ of peeled green apple
- 8 fresh mint leaves
- 2 teaspoons of pealed minced ginger
- 8 oz of water, preferably filtered
- 1 teaspoon of honey
Green machine
Some call it the green machine, other the green juice or any other fancy name. It is the king of detox juice. It is a powerful cleansing drink because it contains more than one detoxifying agents. Greens are well known to be antioxidants, but they can also rejuvenate skin cells. Many people have modified the recipe for this popular juice, and have their own versions. The following is a basic recipe for one serving, mix:
- 1 and ¼ cup of chopped Collard or Kale
- 1 cup of spinach
- 1 freshly squeezed lemon
- 1 peeled Kiwi
- 8 oz of filtered water. I like it more liquid but you can adjust the water according to your texture preferences
