Dealing with stress in today’s life is the most common problem among all, as we know there are many reasons for stress like work, some personal problems related to finance, relationship, and health. No one in life is stress-free; you have to see how you can manage your stress in life.

First identify the reason behind your anxiety. We all know it’s quite a famous saying “God has never created a lock without the key”. Whatever the situation is you can find out the solution too. You can’t control over the days in a week, hours in a day, and also some responsibilities of life. What we can control is that, how can we manage our stress during situations. You can face stress in any way a road with traffic jams, your everyday hassle routine, and work pressure at the office.

Today we are facing a global pandemic situation, which has not only affected the cities but the whole world is affected and afraid to know what will happen the next. This all scares us more when we are already in some stress.

1. Pen down your reasons, which you think can be the reason behind your anxiety and what would be the solutions. It is the best way to quickly relieve stress, try once and you will see the results in just a couple of minutes by writing just a couple of lines. You will see most of the problems will disappear within a minute when you start writing, and you realise they are not really a big problem for you and it is causing stress unnecessarily.

2. A lock is never created without its key; similarly find out the reason for your problems. Try to remind yourself that there is always a solution to every problem, either big or small. 

3. Give time to yourself, try to talk to you find out the reason, why do you feel depressed? Could you change the situation if YES then do it, and if the answer is NO then please accept it and let the things flow with the time.

4. Try to practice some meditation, yoga. When you are fit you can better deal with stress.

5. Eat healthy and keep yourself hydrated. You should always balance your meal.

6. Do not allow defensive or aggressive words. 

7. Take proper sleep. When you are tired, you are less able to deal with anxiety. 

8. To relieve stress, you should never rely on alcohol. 

9. Take a brisk walk. This can be a great way to reduce stress. 

10. Read some good and motivational books.  

11. Drink a cup of green tea to reduce your stress. 

12. Change your thoughts from “I can’t to “I can”. To overcome some negative thoughts which create stress in your mind, make a list or some pointers which you can challenge to make it positive.

13. Focus on Today! Don’t think about yesterday and tomorrow. Yesterday will leave you in depression and tomorrow will land you in stress. So better focus on today and live in the present.

14. Hang out with a friend; go for some lunch or dinner or you can chat with your friend this can relax you with stress.

16. Find out your favorite activity and do that. 

17. Start saying “No” which you think can create stress in your life.

18. Recharge yourself! Take a break and go on vacation. If you are stressed by your workload, take a small break and relax yourself. 

19. Do not create unnecessary stress by thinking about what people are saying about you or how people think about you.

20. Shortage of time. We normally complains that we have a shortage of time to complete the task. Manage your time and watch yourself, you will find how and where you spend your time mostly.

21. If you want to relieve stress, stay away for some time from gadgets. When you are relaxing keep away yourself from cell phones and Facebook. As in every 5-10 minutes, people check their cell phones, Instagram, emails, etc. 

22. Always remember that nothing is permanent. Whenever you are stressed, remind yourself that this will not last forever. 

23. Focus on your strengths, try to break your problems, and tackle one at a time. 

24. You can also try some stress-busting activities like, go for a drive, meet your friends, try your hands on painting, and play your favorite sport, read a book. 

25. Do not bring your office work at home. When you are not feeling good or you are stressed. 

Write whatever is coming in your mind on paper; just write it about your fear, your anger, etc. Now, just shred that paper, and you will see how relaxed you feel. Make a list of your grateful things and you can also try to write few good things about you, then you will come to know that how good things you have in your life to appreciate. Be short and simple; don’t take it as a mental exercise.
