- Wipe your face like a clean slate: Use a gentle face wash to cleanse your face and eyes to remove trace of any dirt, residual mascara or eye liner. Pat your face & eye area dry, now you are ready to do your eye makeup!
- Use a matching skin tone concealer to hide dark circles. Apply them in dots using your fingers and then massage it gently so that it is absorbed in the skin.
- Take a light colored eyeliner pencil and draw a line to define a boundary on your upper eye lashes. It makes your eyelids look larger. Try to keep the line as close as possible to your eyes.
- Here is a three color plan – Apply a medium color on your eyelid i.e is the area from your eye lashes to the crease of your eyes. Apply a lighter hue on your brow line and apply a darker shade on your crease.
- A Quick Tip : Remember to keep your eyebrows perfectly groomed and shaped. Determine your eyebrow pencil color by picking up a pencil one shade lighter than your original hair color.
- After you have applied all the three shades or for that matter even if your have chosen one perfect shade to define your eyes with, use your fingers to blend them properly. This will give a more natural look.
- Outline your eyes with an eye liner; this will define the edges of your eyes. If you want a subtle look apply eyeliner only on the upper eye lids but if you are going for a more dramatic look, apply it on both upper and lower eyelids.
- Next step is to give a finishing touch to your beautiful eyelashes. But before applying mascara, curl your eyelashes with an eyelash curler.
- Apply mascara by starting from the base of your upper eyelashes slowly sweeping your way upwards. Again same as in case of eyeliner; for a more dramatic look apply mascara on both the eyelashes or apply it only to your upper eyelashes if you want to keep it simple.
