- Do your homework well – Learn about the company as much as you can. Visit their website, learn about their services or products, and go through their mission, vision and goals. Chalk out in your mind that given your qualifications and potential, how do you fit in their company and what can you offer them differently from other applicants for the position.

- Dress in formals so that you look professional, polished and well-groomed.
- Prefer morning slots than second halves. You as well as your employer are both in a state of fresh mind.
- During the interview, try to relate your answers with real world experiences.
- Stress on your achievements like your skills, talents, your records of high-performances etc.
- Body language matters! Don’t showcase a casual body language, sit upright and maintain good eye to eye contact.
- Ask them questions. Ask them about the company, the job profile etc. etc. This gives an impression to the employer that you have good analytical skills and genuinely interested in being part of the company.
- Keep your cell phone switched off or on silent mode. Your cell phone ringing out loud is the last thing you want.
- Be Courteous – The day after, send a thank you note, letting them know about how much you enjoyed your meeting with them and that you are looking forward to hear from them.
