Queen Elizabeth Celebrating Birthday on Zoom with Royal Family
Tomorrow, 21st April is the special day for Queen Elizabeth. Yes! It’s her birthday. As due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, she is in Isolation. This year Queen Elizabeth has decided to celebrate her Birthday differently.
Every year, her birthday was celebrated with “Trooping the colors” (It’s a grand parade) and as well as gun salute, but this is the first time when it is not happening on her birthday because of lockdown state due to coronavirus disease. She has canceled the gun salute as the entire country is in lockdown & also the safety measures have taken for people to stay at home. According to the Royal source, she didn’t think it is “appropriate” to celebrate the birthday at this grand level when the whole country is in lockdown state and people are requested to stay at home due to this global pandemic.
According to The Daily Mail reports, this year the Royal Family has decided to gather online at Zoom for a video party with Queen Elizabeth. The Great Officers of Royal Household are planning to set up a video call on Zoom to mark the celebration of her birthday along with her children, grandchildren and great-Grandchildren.
