White Sauce Pasta Recipe – How to Make At Home
Pasta is an all-time favorite & mouth-watering Italian dish. Pasta can be served in many ways; red sauce pasta, white sauce pasta, pasta salad. It is not only quick and easy to make, but it is delicious too, you can have it in the morning breakfast or the evening.
Gone those days when you craved for pasta and you order it from outside. Now Pasta lovers can cook at home with these simple steps.
White Sauce Pasta Ingredients
Step 1- Boil the pasta
- 1 cup of penne pasta ( Penne or Fusilli go with your choice)
- ½ tablespoon of salt
- 5-6 cups of water
- 1 tablespoon of oil
Step 2 – Time for veggies
- ½ cup of chopped Red Capsicum
- ¼ cup of chopped yellow Capsicum
- ¼ cup of chopped Green Capsicum
- ¼ cup of Broccoli
- ¼ cup sweet corn (optional)
- ¼ cup of mushroom (optional)
- 1 tablespoon of oil
Step 3 – Prepare white sauce
- 2 tablespoons of Butter
- 2 tablespoons of Maida
- 2 cup of milk
- 1 tablespoon of garlic
- Some salt and pepper
- 1-1 tablespoon of oregano and chilli flakes
Make White Sauce Pasta
- First, boil the pasta, Take 5-6 cups of water in the pan bring it to boil. Now add pasta and salt and also add 1 tablespoon of oil in it. Boil it 15-20 minutes till it’s completely cooked.
- Meanwhile, the pasta is cooking, let’s prepare our veggies. Take a kadhai or pan, add 1 tablespoon of oil and heat it. Now start adding vegetables, add some salt and cook the veggies for 5 minutes, or till it’s got a little crunchy.
- Turn off the flame.
- Take another Kadai, keep the flame low, add 2 tablespoons of butter & melt it.
- Now add 2 tablespoons of maida in melted butter.
- Stir continuously, until the mix gets a little brown.
- Now, pour the milk & keep stirring continuously, make sure it should be lump-free.
- Add oregano, chilli flakes, some salt & pepper ( according to your taste)
- Now add sautéed vegetables and pasta. Mix it well & turn off the flame.
White sauce pasta is ready to serve. If you like, you can add some grated cheese.
